To provide a coating method in which a coating can be carried out without imparting a nonuniform flow to a coating liquid by inhibiting a vibration generated in a liquid feeding system particularly, when the coating liquid containing a high index refraction filler is coated and thereby in which a deficiency of a coating surface such as streaks of a coating film and dispersion of coating generated in a width direction and a flow direction of an object to be coated is hardly generated.
In the coating method, the coating liquid 4 containing the high index refraction filler is coated on the object 2 to be coated by a die coat method using a base nozzle 1. When the coating is carried out by relatively moving the base nozzle 1 and the object 2 to be coated while maintaining a gap therebetween, the coating liquid 4 consumed by the coating is fed from the base nozzle 1 utilizing a surface retaining action generated by the coating.
