Abstract:
To provide a printable image forming support on which a mark can be placed by using a process survivable indicia.
In this method, the process survivable indicia is arranged on the support for an image forming element. The method comprises a process for preparing the support. In this case, the support includes a closed-cell foam core and at least one flange layer which is bonded to the closed-cell foam core, and the closed-cell foam core includes a polymer which is foamed by using a blowing agent. Additionally, the method comprises a process wherein process survivable ink for forming the process survivable indicia is arranged on at least one flange layer.
