A fixing position 16 in the vehicle longitudinal direction of the front side members 8 fixed by the correcting fixture 10 is set to the position in which the amount of span displacement x of the front side members 8 associated with the thermal deformation in the case of passing through the oven without using the correcting fixture 10 is equal to the half of the amount of thermal deformation xj of the correcting fixture 10 itself in the case of passing through the oven.
