Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent backlash and hysteresis by disposing a load cell on one internal gear and a preliminary pressure applying means on the other internal gear, applying a torsional force to a space between both internal gears, detecting said torsional force, an fixing them at the relative position with the predetermined value thereof. CONSTITUTION:Internal gears 12a, 12b respectively engaging with external gears of wave generators 8a, 8b of harmonic drives A, B are fixed to a casing 31a, 31b respectively and are set provisionalily with freedom of movement in their rotating directions. A load cell 26, and a mounting means 29 including a preliminary pressure applying means 27 (bolt) are secured to the casing 31, 31b respectively in order to twist the casing 31, 31b in the directions of arrow marks 11, a2 for applying a preliminary pressure. Accordingly, a preliminary pressure is applied in a twisting direction while measuring the pressure by means of a load cell 26, and the internal gears 12a, 12b are secured at a determined value thereof. Thus, backlash and hysteresis can be prevented certainly.
