PURPOSE: To attach tentatively and quickly an attachmemt to the attaching point of a boiler constituting member and to eliminate the need for tack welding by adhering the attachment by means of an adhesive agent to the attaching point of said member then welding the member and attachment by normal welding.

CONSTITUTION: The adhesive agent is coated on the arc surface 3' on the rear side of the attachment for attaching the tube of a boiler and is set to the prescribed position of a lifting pipe 2 then the attachment 3 is normal-welded 5 to the pipe 2 in the stage of attaching the attachment 3 to the pipe 2. Some material requires preheating prior to the normal welding and in such a case the adhesive agent formulated to withstand about 100W250°C preheating temp. is used. The need for the tack welding operation is thus eliminated.
