To provide a method of attaching bush type anti-vibration rubber, which removes a risk about an increase in the number of man-hours, by eliminating the need for a diameter-reducing deformation step for the bush type anti-vibration rubber and a step of inserting the diameter-reduced deformed anti-vibration rubber into a rigid outer tube, and also which sufficiently simplifies the attachment of the anti-vibration rubber by field construction.
A pair of push-in members 5 for bush type anti-vibration rubber 2 having a central through-hole 1 are provided in a manner separated by the central through-hole 1. The bush type anti-vibration rubber 2 is expanded in diameter and deformed by pushing taper surfaces or spherical surfaces of both the push-in members 5 at positions facing each other into the central through-hole 1, and the outer circumferential surface of the bush type anti-vibration rubber 2 is brought into close contact with an inner circumferential surface of a surrounding bracket 4 provided around the anti-vibration rubber.
