PURPOSE: To improve the method for attaching a film for temporarily protecting the coating film of a car body to the surface of the coating film of a coating- completed vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: In a method for attaching a coating film protecting film to the surface of the coating film of a car body 2, side films 3fs, 3rs at a width, which can ride over from a front fender part 2ff to a bonnet 2b and from a rear fender part 2rf to a trunk lid 2t and over each bonding part thereof, are attached to each bonding part. Thereafter, center films 3b, 3r, 3t at a width wider than the width t2 of a roof and narrower than the width t1 of a bonnet are attached to the roof 2r and the trunk lid 2t, and the sand films 3fs, 3rs and the center films 3b, 3t are respectively provided with an overlap part.
