Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee the accuracy of each part of an engine compartment whose front part is of open structure until a front end module is attached.
SOLUTION: In a body main process, a front side member 8 is restrained in a design reference position by a positioning tool 12, and a hood ridge reinforcement 9c is positioned so that the relative position relation to the front side member 8 is in a vehicle state and then welded to a hood ridge upper 9b. In a metal process and a front end module attaching process, the mutual span of the front side members 8, 8 is corrected each time by a correcting tool so as to have the design reference value. The relative position relation between the front side member 8 and the hood ridge reinforcement 9c is reproduced to guarantee the attaching accuracy.
