PURPOSE: To apply adhesive to approximately the whole front surface of a front panel uniformly and, moreover, make a display member adhere to the front panel automatically by a method wherein a one stroke continuous guide groove which covers almost the whole front surface of the front panel is provided in coated parts of the front surface of the front panel and an adhesive dispenser is moved along the guide groove continuously in one stroke.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of fan-shaped openings 5 provided in the front surface 1b of a front panel 1 are linked with beams 6 and the beams 6 constitute parts coated with adhesive with circumferential parts 7 of the fan-shaped apertures 5. A guide groove 8 is provided in the coated parts, i.e. the beams 6 and the circumferential parts 7. The guide groove 8 has a one-stoke continuous shape and covers almost the whole front surface 1b of the front panel 1. Therefore, if an adhesive dispenser 10 is moved along the guide groove 8, the adhesive 9 is applied to the inside of the guide groove 8 uniformly. Moreover, as the adhesive 9 flows along the guide groove 8, peeling-off of a display member 3 caused by the unbalanced distribution of the adhesive and defective appearance caused by the excessive adhesive can be avoided.
