Title:
METHOD OF AVOIDING COATING IN PARTIAL COMBUSTION FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10220722
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable continuous stable operation of a partial combustion furnace by a method wherein a free board part of the partial combustion furnace is cooled and furthermore, the amount of primary air and the amount of combustibles supplied are so controlled that the temperature of the free board part keeps a range enough to cause no coating trouble by inorganic chloride or tar components in ashes.

A cooling medium (water or air) passed through a heat exchanger tube 34 is detected by a flow rate indicator 36, the temperature of a free board part 32 by a thermometer 38 and values thereof are inputted into an arithmetic device 40 to control motors 42, 46 and 50 so that the temperature of the free board part 32 keeps a range of 400-770° preferably 450-700°C in which the temperature does not exceed the melting point of inorganic chloride while allowing avoiding of a coating trouble otherwise caused by a tar component. The preheated air to be supplied to a fluidized bed combustion furnace 18 is adjusted by a valve 49 (fore example, damper). This enables avoiding of a coating trouble otherwise caused by the inorganic chloride and tar components in a partial incinerator 10 thereby enabling continuous safe operation.
