The method of bending and forming the coated plate glass comprises a step for applying a thermally shrinkable coating fluid to the upper surface of a horizontal plate glass, a step for forming a film by heating the coating fluid on the upper surface of the horizontal plate glass, a step for heating the plate glass at least to the softening temperature, and step for bending and forming the plate glass with a forming mold.
