Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bending material with a simple mechanism and forming an ellipsoid and a paraboloid for forming an oblique incident reflection mirror of small aberration.
SOLUTION: This method is a curved surface forming method provided with a step forming an unequal thickness sectional shape member 7 that its width is fixed, and its thickness in the longitudinal direction is changed and a step bending the unequal thickness sectional shape member so that the surface of the unequal thickness sectional shape member becomes a prescribed curved surface shape. This optical device is provided with the unequal thickness sectional shape member 7 that its width is fixed, and its thickness in the longitudinal direction is changed, a support member fixing a first end part of the unequal thickness sectional shape member 7 and a means for bending the unequal thickness sectional shape member so that the surface of the unequal thickness sectional shape member becomes an aspherical shape.
