To bind an article to be conveyed, without reference to various kinds of dimensions of the articles to be conveyed, in terms of a method for binding the article to be conveyed, such as a stacked object of iron plates which are cut in prescribed dimensions from a coil hoop, etc.

A binding piece 10 is composed of upper and lower supporting plates 12 and 14 and a rectangular cross-section pipe 16 which is arranged between the supporting plates 12 and 14; and the supporting plates 12 and 14 and the pipe 16 are welded together. Rubber pads 12-1 and 14-1 are bonded to top and bottom surfaces of supporting plates 12 and 14. The article 20 to be conveyed is placed on the binding pieces 10; binding belts 24A and 24B are inserted into channels 22A and 22B which are formed of the pipes 16 of the coupling pieces 10; and the bound object is constituted by binding both ends tightly.
