Abstract:
PURPOSE:To form a uniform black film in a short time by carrying out electrolysis using the titled steel sheet as a cathode in an aqueous soln. contg. prescribed amounts of Co and/or Ni ions and the ammonium or sodium salt of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid or the like. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous soln. contg. 1-20g/l Co and/or Ni ions and 5-70g/ lone or more kinds of salts selected among the ammonium, sodium, potassium and aluminum salts of sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, carbonic acid, etc. is prepd. Using the titled steel sheet as a cathode electrolysis is carried out in the aqueous soln. at 1-5A/dm<2> cathode current density for 0.5-30sec. By this method a uniform black film is formed in a short time.
