Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable to save the time and reduce the expenses, by measuring the urea concentration of a patient for dialysis and, when the urea concentration is a specific value, estimating the dialysis end point based on the urea concentration after preferable dialysis and the measured urea concentration and comparing the urea concentration measured at about the estimated end point with a preferable urea concentration after dialysis. CONSTITUTION: Urea concentration is inputted into a microprocessor 12 from equipment to analyze a urea-containing sample, the microprocessor 12 produces a signal of preferable concentration pr time after dialysis and transmits the signal to a programmable memory 14 to make the signal stored. The programmable memory automatically communicates with the microprocessor at a proper time to activate a signal light 18 to display the time. The urea concentration at about estimated finishing time of dialysis is compared with a preferable urea concentration after dialysis by the microprocessor 12 to actuate a signal light 20 when dialysis is finished, and to estimate a corrected finishing point when further dialysis is suitable.
