Abstract:
To provide a method for improving combustion ratio of blown solid fuel in a blast furnace and a lance when the powdery solid fuel, such as pulverized fine coal, wood piece, is blown into the blast furnace.
When the solid fuel is blown together with carrier gas into the blast furnace 1 through the solid fuel-brown lance 4 set in a blowing pipe 5, nozzles 10, 11 are set toward tangential direction of the inner wall of the solid fuel-blown lance and gas is supplied toward the tangential direction of the inner wall surface of the solid fuel-blown lance through these nozzles, and while forming swirly stream of this gas, the solid fuel is blown together with the carrier gas into the blast furnace.
