Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved, easy and economical method of bonding and/or tightly adhering a perfluoroelastomer for providing a uniform finished part which substantially maintains strength of a solid finished product and a part formed from the perfluoroelastomer.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of bonding a perfluoroelastomer material to a first surface, the method comprising: (a) a step of bringing the first surface into contact with a bonding agent containing a curable perfluoropolymer and a curing agent; and (b) a step of curing the bonding agent to form a perfluoroelastomer material bonded to the first surface, wherein the bonding agent may be a solution prepared by dissolving the curable perfluoroelastomer and the curing agent in a solvent, the perfluoroelastomer material formed in the step (b) is a coating layer or the first surface is a surface of a perfluoroelastomer member and the perfluoroelastomer material formed is a perfluoroelastomer weld.
