Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a branch shield machine to safely and quickly start or arrive by preventing a main line shield machine from being complicated in structure and lengthened in length.
SOLUTION: A lining structural body having a double-tube structure of outer peripheral segments 11, 12 and an inner peripheral segment 10 and capable of forming the starting (or arriving) opening section 13 of a branch shield machine on the inner peripheral segment is assembled at the expected start/ arrival section of the branch shield machine in a main line shield machine 1. The outer peripheral segments 11, 12 are advanced prior to the start (or arrival) of the branch shield machine, and the starting (or arriving) opening section 13 of the branch shield machine is opened.
