To provide a method for building a DC-AC type cooling tower capable of shortening a construction period by improving safety of a building work.
In order to build a DC-AC type cooling tower, a cooling tower body 2 is divided into a main structure 7 disposed under a blower and of a route for raising warm air raised by the blower and a sub-structure 8 disposed at a side of the structure 7 to support a filler block group. The structure 7 is built so as to expose the side of the structure 7 with an exterior before building the sub-structure 8. Further, a plurality of filler units each having a horizontal luggage carrier 16 to be engaged with the structure 7, a filler block 17 placed on the carrier, and a standing pole 14 fixed to erect on the carrier to constitute the sub-structure 8, are prepared. The filler units are sequentially stacked from a lower floor corresponding to the respective floors of the structure 7, and the sub-structure 8 is formed at the side of the structure 7.
