Abstract:
To provide a method of burring a metallic material by which the workability of punching work of a metallic material and the formability of burring work after that are improved.
In the method of burring the metallic material in which the burring work is performed by using a prepared hole which is worked by punching work, the prepared hole working part is heated so as to reach the optimum temperature at which the structure of the metallic material to be made into the edge part of the prepared hole in the punching work is recrystallized and, after performing the punching work in this state, the metallic material is slowly cooled and the burring work is performed after that.
