PURPOSE: To display a correct temperature, by finding a linear equation from each measured value by an external computer at the time of placing a sensor at different temperatures and storing a constant and calculating reversely said temperature by using this equation.
CONSTITUTION: A signal sent from a sensor 11 is digitized by a digital electronic clinical thermometer 12 and is sent to a display part 13. This display value is sent to an external computer 16. If the display value of the display part 13 is denoted as T1, T2 at the time when the sensor 11 is placed in constant temperature water baths T1, T2, it is expressed as follows; T2'=aT2+b, T1'=aT1+b. (a) and (b) are found by the external computer 16 and each value is set in memories 19, 20. Further, in the case where the sensor 11 is at T3' temperature, the correct temperature T3=(T3'-b)/a is calculated reversely by an arithmetic part 21 and is displayed on the display part 13.
