Title:
METHOD FOR CARRYING HEAVY LOAD OUT OF REACTOR BUILDING IN NUCLEAR FACILITIES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004117357
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for carrying a heavy load out of a reactor building 1 in nuclear facilities, particularly, a container 7 storing activated primary system components in an expensive, quickly and shake-proof fashion.

The container 7 is guided out of the reactor building 1 and moved on a transport rail 10 arranged near a floor surface to form a slide section, and with the rail vertically lifted up at its terminal end and removed, it is put on a heavy load carrier 8 moved thereunder. The vertical lift-up is easily carried out by a hydraulic cylinder which is more inexpensive than a crane device for downward gripping the heavy load.
