PURPOSE: To enhance operational efficiency of a stacker crane, when recarry-in commodities and new carry-in commodities have the same items in common, by first carrying carry-in pallets from carry-in inlets to stock shelves and then integrating recarry-in and carry-out, and carrying out the recarry-in pallets to carry-in inlets.

CONSTITUTION: In the case of recarrying in commodities, a carry out operator inputs items, quantities, carry-out outlet codes of those commodities by CRT9a. A central control unit 6 receives those input data from a carry-out control unit 9 and makes operation schedules of a stacker crane 3 to send them to a ground control unit 7. Namely, when the recarry-in commodities and new carry-in commodities have the same items in common, instructions gives operation schedules integrating the recarry-in and the new carry-in. The stacker crane 3 first carries in the new carry-in commodities and then carries out recarry-in pallets from carry-out outlets A-H to carry-in inlets (a)-(t).
