Abstract:
To provide a method for carrying out the abrasion test by which the abrasion tests of various kinds of metallic wires can be carried out rapidly and precisely in the same condition, and further to provide a abrasion test apparatus.
One kind or many kinds of the metallic wires W are wound on the outer periphery of a rotary drum 1 so as to adhere to each other. A powdery or granular hard polishing material P is inserted into a box 2 to the level on which at least the nearly lower half part of the rotary drum 1 is buried, and the rotary drum 1 is rotated at a high revolution to test the wear of the tooth part of the metallic wire W.
