Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to favorably carry out moisture absorption of dried leaf in a humidity-controlling method for forcibly absorbing moisture into dried leaf using a humidifier after finishing a drying process.
CONSTITUTION: After finishing all processes for curing and drying in a drying process of leaf tobacco, a blowing fan is intermittently operated while feeding steam to suction side of a blower 4 of a drier using a humidifier C. Thereby, steam is temporarily stored on the upper part of a drying chamber (a) when the blower 4 is stopped and the stored steam is fed to the drying chamber (a) so as to uniformly spread over the whole drying chamber (a) together with the air when the blower 4 is operated and the operation is repeated to slowly permeate water content into the dried leaf B when mainly The blower is stopped.
