PURPOSE: To provide a method for casting an aluminum wheel without fear of developing uneven plating.

CONSTITUTION: On a mold 1 forming a design surface in the aluminum wheel, cooling pipes or cavities 1a are arranged, and by forcedly cooling the mold 1 with water or air, the casting is executed. As material of the mold 1 at the part forming the design surface in the aluminum wheel, copper or copper alloy is used and the casing is executed. Further, by applying rapid cooling coating agent 5 on the mold 1 at the part forming the design surface of the aluminum wheel, the casting is executed.
