Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal casting method which can expect a sure and effective feeder head effect with a pressurizing element and also, can easily and surely draw out the pressurizing element pushed out into the feeder head part.
SOLUTION: In the metal casting method which applies the pressure to molten metal in a cavity by pushing the pressurizing element 1 after supplying the molten metal into the cavity 4 in a metallic mold, the feeder head part 5 is arranged at a part except a product part. Further, a gap for forming (casting) a cap-like part is arranged between the inner periphery of the feeder head part 5, and the outer periphery of the pressurizing element 1, and a projecting line 8 is formed along the advancing/retreating direction of the pressurizing element on the inner peripheral surface of the feeder head part or on the outer peripheral surface of the pressurizing element.
