Abstract:
To provide an efficient and economical means for considerably improving cleanliness of a cast metal of initial several tons to a user of continuous casting of a metal, in particular, steel, and more specifically, to a user of a device for casting thin steel strips.
In a continuous casting device having a tundish with an inner side thereof covered by a refractory substance, a metal plate is fixed to a surface of the refractory substance before the tundish is filled with a molten metal to be cast.
