Abstract:

PURPOSE: To release a compounded state resulting from kneading and deaerate the compound without lowering a flowability by a method wherein a compound of a refractory material is deaerated through a vibrating screen while the refractory compound is allowed to fall to be cast.

CONSTITUTION: A preliminarily prepared refractory compound is loaded in a hopper 8. After a pressure reduction tank 11 is sealed by an upper cover 9 and a door 12, a pressure in the pressure reduction tank 11 is reduced to 0.5 atmospheric pressure or lower by sucking air through a suction pipe 10, and a valve 14 is closed. A screen 6 is vibrated at a frequency of 300-2000/min by turning ON a switch of a vibrating machine 13. A casting form 1 is vibrated by driving a vibrating machine 2. After that, a damper 7 is opened, and the compound in the hopper 8 is made to fall on the screen 6. The falling compound rolls on the screen 6 by being vibrated by the vibrating machine 13, thereby being diffused and finely dispersed through meshes to be charged in the form 1. At this time, the compound is finely cut by the meshes of the screen 6, thereby being acceleratedly deaerated.
