Abstract:
To provide a novel method for causing a protein to be of low molecular weight, which can solve the problem arising in conventional methods using proteases.
This invention relates to the method of causing the protein to be of low-molecular weight through a plasma treatment. The plasma treatment is preferably an atmospheric plasma treatment. The plasma treatment is preferably carried out by placing a protein between parallel flat plate electrodes. The protein is preferably a solid.
