Abstract:
To provide a method for cell-free protein synthesis in which the protein synthetic reaction can stably be continued for long hours in high efficiency in the cell-free protein synthetic reaction using wheat embryo extract.
The cell-free protein synthesis using the wheat embryo extract is carried out in the presence of an antimicrobial agent at such a concentration that causes no prohibition of the protein synthesis by the wheat embryo and that can suppress the proliferation of fungi.
