To provide a method for extending an operation life of a turbine blade 10 with an end shroud.
The method includes steps of: removing a cutter tooth (206) installed at its end including a cutter tooth (18) arranged one of ends between a negative pressure side and positive pressure side of a seal rail (16) of the tip end shroud (14) from a seal rail (16) of the end shroud (14); and installing the cutter tooth (220) installed at its center including the cutter tooth (18) installed at the center of the seal rail (16) of the end shroud (14) with respect to the seal rail (16) of the end shroud (14). In such the method, the cutter tooth (220) installed at its center can be installed on the seal rail (16) so as to be located at a range of the inside of a blade-shaped section (12) when the cutter tooth (220) installed at its center radially protrudes outwardly from a location at the minimum width at a lower part of a shroud fillet (122).
