To provide a method for charging powder and a mixing container by which an electric field generated by a dust cloud formed when charging powder into the mixing container can be effectively reduced and a large amount of powder can be easily charged.
The method for charging powder for charging combustible powder into the electroconductive mixing container 1 includes a step for introducing a charging chute 5 which is an electroconductive hollow member whose upper and lower ends are opened into the mixing container 1 from a charging opening 2 arranged above the mixing container 1, a step for making the mixing container 1 and the charging chute 5 grounding condition, a step for charging the powder from the upper end of the charging chute 5, and a step for taking out the charging chute 5 from the mixing container 1 after charging the powder into the mixing container 1, the charging chute 5 has a through hole in the side face thereof.
