Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase of pressure loss even if fine grain ores are used in raw material charge to a blast furnace.SOLUTION: In this invention, when raw material is charged to the inside of a furnace in single charge, coke is correctively charged to the central part in the furnace to form the first coke layer, coke is charged to the outer circumferential side of the first coke layer to form the second coke layer, coarse grain ores with a grain size of 6 mm or more are charged to the outer circumferential side of the first coke layer to form the first ore layer, and the second ore layer is formed on the outer circumferential side of the first ore layer. In the boundary face formed between the first ore layer and the second ore layer, a recessed part recessed toward the upper face of the first ore layer or the upper face of the second coke at an angle of 0 degree or lower from the inner circumferential side toward the outer circumferential side toward the lower part is formed in a range where the dimensionless radius reaches 0.6 or more, and the mixed ores of the coarse grain ores with the grain size of 6 mm or more and the fine grain ores with the grain size of 3 to below 6 mm are filled in such a manner that the unit consumption of the fine grain ores is controlled to 0 to 30 kg/t.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
