Abstract:
To provide charging/discharging control system for effectively utilizing a battery by judging the lifetime of the battery.
An apparatus for charging a secondary battery includes a means for judging the lifetime of the battery, a means for storing a set value for judging end of charging based on a judged result of the lifetime of the battery, a means for charging, a means for detecting battery data during the charging, a means for comparing the battery data during the charging with a set value of the battery data for ending the charging to judge the end of the charging, and a means for ending the charging based on the judged result of the end of charging of the battery.
