To provide a method for charging sintering raw material by which the compaction of the sintering raw material on a pallet is restrained by making god use of a narrow space to obtain good ventilation and the quality and productivity of the sintered ore can be improved.
In the method for charging the sintering raw material 11 on the pallet 15 while classifying with a bar screen 16 arranged at the lower level side of a charging chute 13 by discharging the sintering raw material 11 into the charging chute 13 from a drum feeder 14, a cut gate 17 is fitted at the lower end part of the charging chute 13 and the surface of the sintering raw material 11 charged on the pallet 15 is scraped with the cut gate 17 and the material is fed to the bar screen side.
