Abstract:

To provide an air conditioner which can discharge foreign objects falling from a heat exchanger to the outside of an air conditioning unit.SOLUTION: An air conditioning unit 3 includes: an air conditioning case 30; a blower 31 which flows air down to an interior of the air conditioning case 30; an evaporator 32 which conducts heat exchange between the air flowed down by the blower 31 and an internal fluid; and a discharge port 5 forming a discharge passage allowing communication between an interior and an exterior of the air conditioning case 30. The discharge port 5 has an opening end part 50 which at least partially opens at the interior of the air conditioning case 30 at the upstream of airflow relative to an air passing inlet surface 320 in a heat exchange core part of the evaporator 32. The air conditioning unit 3 can discharge foreign objects falling from the evaporator 32 to the outside of the air conditioning unit 3 through the discharge port 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
