PURPOSE: To prevent the deposition of clads on equipment and apparatus existing downstream by passing the condensate of steam generated in a boiling water reactor to a desalting column and a 1st stage feed water heater, then cleaning the same by a porous hollow yarn membrane of a carbon fiber system.
CONSTITUTION: The condensate of the steam generated in the boiling water reactor is passed through the desalting column 6 and the 1st stage feed water heater 8 and is then cleaned by the porous hollow yarn membrane of the carbon fiber system. The clads generated in the stage before the 1st stage feed water heating column are efficiently removed in such a manner and the problems, such as the oscillation of the vanes of a boiler feed water pump existing on the downstream thereof by the deposition of the clads thereon, the clogging of a feed water flow regulating plate by the deposition of the clads therein, the sticking of the clads to the fuel rods of the reactor, are thereby minimized.
