Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the easy and rapid cleaning of contact lenses and to enable the good removal of stubborn stains by using a liquid enzyme detergent and exhibiting an extremely high protein removing effect.
CONSTITUTION: An enzyme-contg. aq. soln. contg. an effective amt. of serine proleclytic enzyme and 30 to 95wt.% glycerin is diluted with a diluting liquid contg. 0.05 to 5wt.% anionic surfactant without contg. polyoxyethylene glycol unit and 0.005 to 0.1wt.% ethylene diaminetetraacetic acid salt in such a manner that the concn. of the glycerin attains ≤5wt.% to prepare a treating soln. The contact lenses are immersed into this treating soln., by which the contact lenses are cleaned.
