Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate operation and to greatly improve cleaning power without being affected by atmospheric temp. by using 0.1-10wt.% percarbonate and 0.01-5wt.% surfactant simultaneously in an aq. medium. CONSTITUTION:A contact lens CL is cleaned by using 0.1-10wt.% percarbonate and 0.01-5wt.% surfactant simultaneously in the aq. medium. The reaction expressed by M2C2O6+H2O 2MHCO3+1/202 is effected by contact of the percarbonate with the water, by which the foam of oxygen is generated and the CL is mechanically cleaned by the foam. The lens is chemically cleaned as well by the surfactant coexisting therein and the cleaning power is greatly improved by the cooperative effect thereof. Since the cleaning by dividing the same to multiple stages is not executed, the operation is multiple stages is not executed, the operation is simple and is not affected by the atmospheric temp.
