Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cleaning contaminated ground which efficiently cleans contaminated soil by efficiently and uniformly distributing soil microorganisms and their nutrient sources into contaminated strata in the ground, thereby enhancing the contaminant material decomposition activity of the soil microorganism.
SOLUTION: Pumping wells 2 and sand pits or gravel pits 1 compounded with the soil microorganisms or the nutrient sources for the soil microorganisms are formed at suitable pitches in the ground Y where the contaminated strata exist in the ground and the groundwater is pumped up by the pumping wells 2. The pumped water is supplied to the sand pits or gravel pits 1 to form streams X of the groundwater, by which the soil microorganisms or the nutrient sources for the soil microorganisms are diffused into the contaminated ground Y.
