Abstract:
To regenerate function to clean filter sand without shutting down the operation of a filter basin even when the installation of a storage tank in which the filter sand removed of dirt is kept stored is not possible.
A prescribed amount of the filter sand 5 is sucked away by pump 2 from the rapid filter basin 1 for cleaning water by the filter sand during back flow cleaning of the rapid filter basin 1. The sucked filter sand 5 is supplied to a sand cleaner 3 and the dirt to the filter sand is removed by the sand cleaner 3. The filter 7 get rid of the dirt is returned to the rapid filter basin 1 before the back flow cleaning of the rapid filter basin 1 ends.
