Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning soil capable of sufficiently exhibiting a cleaning action by iron powder, or the like, while maintaining the strength of ground at a cleaning targeted area in the ground, in the method for cleaning the soil using the iron powder or an iron oxide powder as a cleaning material.
SOLUTION: In the method for cleaning soil by injecting cleaning material slurry to the cleaning targeted area in the ground at high pressure and reacting the cleaning material with a contaminated material to clean the soil, this method enables the intermittent injection of the cleaning material slurry at high pressure while moving the cleaning material either of upward and downward at the cleaning targeted area thereby alternately stacking a cleaning material layer containing the cleaning material and a ground layer.
