Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for closing an aperture provided on a tip of a blade without using a tip cap or a component similar thereto.SOLUTION: A method for closing an aperture provided on a blade 100 of a gas turbine includes closing the aperture by a weld 150 formed by means of a Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding process without an insert placed in the aperture.
