Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of the coating film of a coated automobile body, to improve the weather resistance and to facilitate the removal of drit by coating the surface of the paint film with silicone resin clear coating in or after a finishing stage.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of the coating film of the coated automobile body passed through pressing and coating stages is coated with silicone resin clear coating in the finishing stage or before or after an assembling stage. The silicone resin clear coating used is preferably based on a copolymer contg. 1-50wt.% organopolysiloxane bonds represented by formula I (where each of R1 and R2 is 1-10C univalent aliphatic hydrocarbon or phenyl and n is an integer of ≥1).
