Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of the brittle cracking by coiling and uncoiling at a specific temperature by executing the prereduction with the specific temperature and draft after the continuous casting of the thin cast strip of a specific thickness.

CONSTITUTION: The hot rolled steel for working is cast continuously to the cast steel strip of the thickness under 80mm. Then, this cast steel strip is executed with the prereduction on the temperature over than 1100°C and the draft over than 5% and less than 20%, and is coild and uncoiled at a temperature over than 800°C. The hot rolled steel for working is used broadly in the field using the hot rolled steel sheet for normal working, for example, it is the steel which consists of, by weight%, 0.001W0.30% C, 0.06W0.30% Mn, 0.001W2.0% Si, ≤0.03% S, ≤0.03% P, ≤0.20% Al, and other components as required. Therefore, the thin cast steel strips can be coiled and uncoiled with good productivity and economically.
