The providing/recovering method for the cold storage bodies C1 and C2 includes a providing step of providing the cold storage body C1 with a precedently frozen embedded cold storage agent to the customer u1 having purchased the food that needs to be kept cold or the like, a recovering step of recovering the cold storage body C2 wherein the cold storage agent has melted when taken home from the customer u2, and a refreezing step of refreezing the cold storage agent of the recovered cold storage body C2.
