To provide a working method that prevents a rover from becoming unable to travel due to its wheels being stuck into regolith or getting damaged from rolling over a rough terrain during collecting samples or the like on the moon surface.
The method of collecting large volume samples, easy-path setting method, and traveling method use a plurality of rovers which has a throwing function, a wire-tension controlling function, a wire drawing function, an object grabbing function, an object handling function, and a ground traveling function in order to collect or remove samples such as rocks on a hill slope covered with regolith. Each rover swings or rotates its rigid arm for throwing to project a shield capsule attached at the tip ends of multiple wires as an end effector to a target point on the ground. After the capsule lands, a collection net is pulled out of the shield capsule and the rovers simultaneously wind up the wires to collect or remove the samples such as rocks. An easy-path is set in the area where the rocks have been cleared for the rovers to climb.
