Abstract:
Methane is recovered from sanitary landfills that continually generate methane and carbon dioxide by drilling a bore hole into the landfill with installation of conduit, contacting the mixture of methane and carbon dioxide emitted from the landfill with activated carbon to preferentially adsorb carbon dioxide and collecting methane in a receiving means.
