Abstract:
To provide an effective method for collecting silver from a waste photographic processing liquid.
The method for collecting silver from the waste photographic processing liquid containing silver ions, includes contacting the waste photographic processing liquid containing silver ions with a material containing fine metal particles which are dispersed in a binder matrix of hydrophilic colloid, and have higher positive oxidation potential than silver, and reducing the silver ions into metallic silver.
